The claim whose origin has to be proven

Our speciality isn't the routine claim: it's the file where the cause isn't obvious and cover depends on it.

fire debris water damage or breakage industrial unit or data centre
01

Electrical damage

Overvoltage, insulation faults, switching failures, lightning and damage to machinery and industrial electronics. We distinguish genuine electrical damage from wear and manufacturing defects.

02

Fires

Determination of the seat and cause, analysis of the affected installation, chain of custody of debris and reconstruction of how the fire developed.

03

Miscellaneous risks

Water, theft, machinery breakdown, third-party damage and civil liability. Valuation of the loss and verification of cover against what the policy declares.

04

Industrial and commercial multi-risk

Warehouses, retail units, data centres and technology equipment. Here we add what almost no firm has: we also assess IT and network infrastructure damage.

Commitment to quality

A report either stands up or it doesn't

Six internal rules that make our conclusions withstand review by the insured, the opposing party and the court.

01

Written methodology

Each type of claim has its own inspection protocol. Nothing is improvised on site and nothing depends on which adjuster is assigned.

02

Chain of custody

Debris is identified, photographed and sealed, with a record of who held it and when.

03

Photographic traceability

Photography with scale reference and intact metadata: every statement in the report points to a specific image.

04

Second-adjuster review

No report is issued until a second adjuster has checked the conclusion. If they disagree, the investigation is extended.

05

Reasoned conclusion

The reasoning is set out, along with the hypotheses ruled out and the technical reason for each.

06

Deadlines communicated

If the report will be delayed because documentation or analysis is missing, the claims handler knows before having to ask.

Frequently asked questions

What claims handlers ask

How soon do we get the report?
We assign an adjuster within 24 working hours of instruction, and the inspection normally takes place within the following 72 hours. The report deadline depends on whether samples must be analysed or documentation awaited from the insured, and is communicated from day one.
Do you assess electrical damage to machinery and industrial electronics?
Yes, it's our main speciality. We determine whether the failure has an external electrical origin, an installation defect, a switching error or simple wear, which is exactly what usually decides cover.
Does the adjuster ratify the report in court?
Yes. The report is signed by the adjuster who carried out the inspection, who appears to ratify it when proceedings require it.
Do you work outside Catalonia?
Yes. We're based in Barcelona and take assignments across Spain, with travel scheduled according to the size of the file.
